The result will be assessed and software, standardization of documents and procedures completed for official implementation in May 2023.

A representative of Binh Duong Customs Department said that the deployment of express delivery service is a new type in the province. If before, import and export of goods in Binh Duong province were mainly transported via sea and transshipped to land border gates to the southern provinces, now businesses can carry out customs procedures for goods sent via express delivery service in Binh Duong with a cross-border warehouse system.
On August 12, 2022, the General Department of Vietnam Customs issued a Decision recognizing the location of gathering, inspection and supervision for postal and goods sent via express delivery service of Tan Cang Express Joint Stock Company at 7/20 DT 743 Street, Binh Dang quarter, Binh Hoa ward, Thuan An city, Binh Duong province.
According to the assessment, this was an opportunity for enterprises operating postal and express delivery services to develop, create a breakthrough in the development of e-commerce, diversify types of export and import of goods, contributing to forming a large logistics center of the region, forming a stable supply chain of goods for customers in Binh Duong province.
The deployment of express delivery contributes to business facilitation. Diversifying goods supply services to make it easier for businesses to deliver and import goods. Contributing to reducing costs and time for businesses because it can be done in the locality instead of having to carry out procedures in other localities.

Binh Duong Customs Department has actively supported Tan Cang Express Joint Stock Company to deploy express delivery locations based on the spirit of meeting the requirements of trade facilitation along with customs management requirements to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Binh Duong Customs Department also assigned Song Than Customs Branch to directly manage the express delivery location of Tan Cang Express Joint Stock Company; organize a working delegation to exchange experiences in implementing this type of operation at the Hanoi Customs Department and HCM City Customs Department; assigned advisory divisions to study regulations on import-export customs procedures for goods sending via express delivery service, to advise and issue guiding documents for synchronous implementation; researching on risk management; complete the information technology system; procedures for granting radiation safety permits, ensuring operating conditions for the scanning machines; and arrange personnel to operate the screening.
Song Than Customs Branch said that it has coordinated with advisory units to organize a trial operation of procedures before the official implementation in May 2023.
