Lao Cai Customs collects more than VND1 2 billion from PCA work

VCN – Since 2022, the Post Clearance Audit Customs Branch (Lao Cai Customs Department) has conducted 13 post-clearance audits (PCA) at the customs declarant’s office, exceeding 30% of the whole year’s target.

The unit has proactively collected, analyzed information and reviewed enterprises with high risk, mispresent tax rate and low compliance to develop a plan for information collection and processing for PCA work based on risk management and violation signs to conduct inspections at the customs declarant’s office.

As a result, the unit collected and analyzed information about 15 enterprises, received information about one enterprise from border gate customs branches and regularly collected information about enterprises under the plan on compliance assessment.

In addition, the PCA Customs Branch (Lao Cai Customs Department) has often conducted information collecting and processing under Dispatch 119/TCHQ-GSQL dated January 11, 2021, of the General Department of Customs, and collected information about enterprises under the 2022 PCA plan to assess their law compliance.

Since 2022, the branch has inspected 13 enterprises (exceeding 30% of the assigned target) for PCA at the customs declarant’s office. After PCA, Lao Cai customs imposed a tax amount of more than VND1.44 billion, fined VND59.3 million for administrative violations and collected more than VND1.24 billion from the State budget.
