VCN – Zone 1st Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch (address No. 2 Hoang Dieu, May To Ward, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City) moves to a new office on the 4th floor, 6-storey building, headquarters of Tan Vu Port Branch (Road 346 Dinh Vu Economic Zone, Dong Hai 2 Ward, Hai An District, Hai Phong city) from May 4.

On May 4, Zone 1st Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch organized an event to announce the change of the Branch’s working office.

Implementing Hai Phong city’s policy on building Nguyen Trai Bridge and constructing the surrounding urban area in Ngo Quyen District, the Branch is moved to a new office on the 4th floor of the 6-storey building of Tan Vu Port Branch from May 4.

Hai Phong Zone 1st Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch has contributed to the largest revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department.

The branch has made great efforts and achieved positive results over the past time. From 2019 to 2023, the branch processed procedures for 58.5 million declarations on average each year, with an average turnover of US$5.6 billion/year.

From the beginning of the year to April 20, the branch processed procedures for 17.1 million import and export declarations with the import and export turnover of US$1.8billion.

The branch is assigned the annual revenue target accounts for 25-32% of the total revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department. The branch has completed and excessed the revenue target. The total revenue in the recent five years reached VND105,836 billion, an average of VND21,000 billion per year.

At the event, Director of Hai Phong Customs Department Nguyen Duy Ngoc said that the moving to a new office would facilitate the coordination with port and yard operators; create favorable the business community in customs process and goods delivery at seaports by shortening the movement time compared to the previous time.

“In the near future, the project to build new headquarter for the branch will be approved with the modern facility. During this time, officers should strive to overcome difficulties to complete assigned tasks. At the same time, continue to inherit and promote the achieved results; strengthen discipline and internal solidarity; focus on developing Customs-Business partnerships; improve the coordination relationship with local agencies to successfully complete assigned political tasks” Ngoc directed.
