VCN – Recently, some airlines have failed to make a declaration and update information on time via National Single Window.

The leader of Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch said that, up to now, the General Department of Vietnam Customs has completed the construction of the aviation national single-window portal to ensure that the information of passengers and goods of flights on exit and entry at international airports is provided in full.

However, through checking and monitoring information declared by airlines on the National Single Window Portal system, Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch found that some airlines have not fully and promptly declared information on the National Single Window Portal in accordance with regulations.

According to the Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch, the incomplete declaration of information by the airline and the units authorized by the airline has affected the management process of goods and means of transport on exit and entry by customs authority; affecting the process of supervision and cargo clearance.

A representative of Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch said that in the future, the branch will study and apply measures and sanctions to penalize related parties for cases of making insufficient declarations, affecting the management of goods, passengers and means of transport on entry and exit by the Customs.

To ensure that the National Single Window Portal system receives all the declared information of airlines, Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch said that it has asked airlines and units authorized by the airline to review the list of registrations to implement the national single window. In case there is a change in information compared to the registered list, it is necessary to update the “Registration form” in Vietnamese or English and give written feedback to the Customs Branch.

At the same time, reviewing and checking to ensure the submission of information to the National Single Window Portal in accordance with regulations.

Comparing data of cargo, passengers, crew of flights with the information declared on the National Single Window and making a full additional declaration with sufficient information of flights from January 1, 2023 in case of shortage.
