VCN – Although the number of enterprises carrying out customs procedures has plunged, the import and export turnover at Cao Bang surges year-on-year.

According to Cao Bang Customs Department, from the early year, the import and export activities and delivery and receipt of goods across Ta Lung, Tra Linh and Soc Giang’s border gates have operated normally.
As of February 15, 73 enterprises have performed procedures at the department, reducing by 34% year-on-year.
Although the number of enterprises implementing procedures decreased, the volume of declarations and the import and export turnover saw a year-on-year increase.
The number of declarations grew by 100% to 745 declarations. As a result, the trade in goods rose by 22% compared with the same period as a year ago to US$ 51.4 million.
As of December 15, Cao Bang Customs collected VND123 billion, reaching 11% of the estimate. The revenue mainly resulted from automobiles, garment fabrics, coke, peeled wood planks, lead ingots, machinery and equipment.
