VCN – On August 19, Ha Tinh Customs Department coordinated with the Border Force to arrest a suspect transporting 1kg of Ketamine and 7,500 tablets of synthetic drugs.

On August 16, at Cau Treo International Border Gate Customs Branch, Cau Treo International Border Gate Customs Branch and the Anti-Drugs Enforcement Team under Ha Tinh Customs Department collaborated with local law enforcement forces to arrest Yer Vang, 27, residing in Huoi Moi village, Vieng Thong district, Bolykhamxay province, Laos for illegal transportation of drugs from Laos to Vietnam.
During inspection, the law enforcement force seized 1kg of Ketamine, 7,500 synthetic drugs hidden inside the car’s seat.
To outsmart the officers, the suspect remolded the car’s seat to stash the drugs.
At the office of the investigation agency, Yer Vang said that he transported the drugs from Laos to Vietnam to hand to a person in Nghe An.
The case is under investigation by law enforcement agencies.
