According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC), the whole Customs sector has implemented eight post-clearance audits, including one audit at the premise of the customs declarant and seven audits at the Customs office.

The total amount of tax assessment and administrative fines is VND26.36 billion. VND14.07 billion has been actually collected into the State budget.

The Post Clearance Audit Department has performed audits at the enterprises’ premises and local customs departments have implemented audits at the Customs office.

In January, the number of post-clearance audits was less than usual due to the long Lunar New Year holiday.

In 2022, the sector conducted 3,043 audits, including 1,189 audits at the declarant’s premise and 1,854 audits at the Customs office.

The total amount of tax assessment and administrative fines was VND711.3 billion. VND482.66 billion was actually collected into the State budget.
