The Post Clearance Audit Department accounts for 90 of revenue collection of the entire unit

VCN – The number of inspections conducted by the Post-Clearance Audit Department only accounts for about 20% of the total inspections, but the revenue collection and payment to the state budget account for 90%.

From January 1, 2023, to March 15, 2023, the whole sector carried out 101 cases of inspection, including 25 cases of on-site inspection and 76 cases conducted at the customs office.

The total amount of tax assessment and administrative penalties is VND64.49 billion, which has collected VND 47.64 billion into the state budget.

Notably, the Post-Clearance Audit Department alone carried out 22 cases of inspection, collecting and paying VND 42.91 billion to the state budget. Thus, the number of inspections conducted by the Department is only about 20% of the entire sector, but the revenue collection and payment to the state budget account for 90%.

In addition, in the first quarter, the Post-Clearance Audit Department focuses on implementing some long-term topics related to high-risk items.
