Seven new customs broker agents are recognized

VCN – The General Department of Vietnam Customs issued decisions to recognize seven enterprises that are eligible to operate as customs broker agents.

Specifically, according to the decisions issued on February 17, there are three newly recognized customs broker agents including Viet Resource Development and Construction Co., Ltd.,(located in Hanoi); Duong Anh General Trading Company Limited (located in Quang Ninh); Won Logistics Vietnam Co., Ltd., (located in Hanoi).

On February 16, the General Department of Vietnam Customs also decided to recognize the operation of customs broker agents for four enterprises, including ICL Vietnam Joint Stock Company (located in Hanoi); Chau An International Logistics Joint Stock Company (located in Hanoi); Friday Trading Service Co., Ltd, (located in HCM City); Hawkston Logistics Co., Ltd., (located in HCM City).

According to the decisions of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, enterprises that are eligible to act as customs broker agents are responsible for strictly complying with the provisions of the Law on Customs; Circular 12/2015/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance detailing the procedures for issuing the certificate of training in customs declaration; issuance and revocation of customs broker number; procedures for recognition and operation of customs brokerage agents (Circular 12/2015/TT-BTC as amended and supplemented in Circular 22/2019/TT-BTC dated April 16, 2019 of the Ministry of Finance).
