VCN – Vietnam Customs school has made an announcement on the organisation of online training classes on basic customs operations on a national scale.
The subjects of the course include students from universities and colleges studying majors in economics, accounting, foreign trade, trade, import and export, logistics, business, forwarding, who want to work in the Customs sector or jobs related to the field of customs operations.
Individuals and employees working in enterprises engaged in foreign trade, transportation and logistics activities; employees working in foreign-invested enterprises wishing to equip themselves with basic knowledge in the fields of customs operations.

Individuals who wish to receive formal training to take the exam for the certification of customs declaration as a practice certificate. Enterprises that want to train and improve the qualifications of newly recruited employees or build a team of staff to satisfy customs declaration certificates to be proactive in carrying out customs procedures, import and export activities.
The course will help trainees have an overview of the customs sector to have a clear career orientation after graduation; as a necessary basis to participate in the exam and achieve professional goals for individuals who wish to take the exam for customs declaration certificates; support enterprises in fostering, training to improve qualifications for newly recruited employees for the business community.
Accordingly, trainees will receive support and advice on problems related to customs and related fields through the channels of the class even after graduation.
With the content combining both theory and practice, including topics of customs law and regulations related to customs; tax policy for imported and exported goods; specialized management policies for import and export goods; classification of goods; customs valuation; origin of goods; intellectual property; customs procedures for all types; handling administrative violations in the field of customs; technical and professional foreign trade. In particular, students will practice declaring on the VNACCS/VCIS system; free customs declaration software provided by the General Department of Vietnam Customs
The class is expected to start on April 16, held every Saturday and Sunday. The course consists of 10 days of lessons (20 lessons), in online form and by experienced customs officers with professional knowledge and pedagogical skills.
