VCN – The General Department of Vietnam Customs has notified local customs departments about the supplementation of regulations on procedures for exporting and importing radioactive substances via the National Single Window.

| Procedures for importing and exporting radioactive substances are supplemented |
On December 5, Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety issued Dispatch 970/ATBXHN-KHTC on procedures for importing and exporting radioactive substances, which are improved to meet provisions in Decree 142/2020/ND-CP via the National Single Window.
According to the dispatch, the procedures for importing and exporting radioactive substance will be supplemented as follows:
Amendment of application form for importing radioactive substances;
Amendment of application form for exporting radioactive substances;
Amendment of application form for extending the permit for importing and exporting radioactive substances;
Amendment of application form for revising the permit for importing and exporting radioactive substances;
Revising the declaration form of closed radioactive sources (discrete source);
Revising the declaration form of closed radioactive sources (attached to radiation equipment);
Revising the declaration form of open radioactive sources;
The permit form for importing and exporting radioactive substances.
According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, as of December 15, 250 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and sectors were connected to the National Single Window with over 4.92 million dossiers of about 55,000 enterprises.
