Ho Chi Minh City Customs cleared more than 450 export shipments during national holiday

VCN – During the four days of the National Day holiday, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department carried out customs clearance procedures for over 450 export shipments through Cat Lai port and Tan Son Nhat international airport border gate.

According to the leader of the Export Cargo Procedures Team – Saigon Port Area 1 Customs Branch, during the four days of the National Day holiday this year, the unit has cleared 376 export customs declarations with a total turnover of over US$39 million.

On the first day of the holiday on September 1, the unit carried out procedures for over 180 customs declarations, with a total turnover of over US$17 million.

The leader of the Export Cargo Procedures Team – Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch said that during the four days, the team carried out customs clearance procedures for 80 export shipments via air. In which, there are 55 export shipments in the personal non-commercial regime.

Goods exported through Cat Lai port, Tan Son Nhat international airport during this occasion are mainly aquatic products, seafood, rice, fruits, textiles, and wood products.
