VCN – Through inspection, specialized inspection and implementation of inspection decisions, HCM City Customs Department has collected arrears and proposed to collect nearly VND30 billion of tax for the state budget.

According to HCM City Customs Department, from the beginning of 2022 to November 15, 2022, the Inspectorate Division of HCM City Customs Department has issued 20 official dispatches urging units to implement inspection conclusions. Recently, the Investment Customs Branch has implemented the inspection conclusion of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, and issued a decision on tax imposition for violating enterprises, with a total amount of tax paid to the state budget of nearly VND500 million.
Up to November 15, 2022, HCM City Customs Department has completed processing 12 inspection conclusions, with a total revenue of nearly VND19 billion.
Regarding specialized inspection, the Inspectorate Division has conducted specialized inspection at the headquarters for 5 cases of enterprises showing signs of violations.
As of November 15, 2022, the Inspectorate Division has completed and issued inspection conclusions for one unscheduled inspection under the direction of the General Department of Vietnam Customs and three inspections following the specialized inspection plan in 2022. The total amount of tax proposed for arrears of four conclusions is over VND11 billion.
From now until the end of 2022, HCM City Customs Department will continue to complete specialized inspections and implement eight inspection conclusions of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
