According to HCM City Customs Department, in addition to trade facilitation, customs branches at and outside border gates have focused on anti-revenue loss through taxable prices.

In December, the city’s department implemented a price ruling for 34,759 customs declarations. As a result, over 22,000 declarations accepted the declared value, and 12,693 declarations rejected the declared value.

By rejecting the declared value and adjusting the taxable price to match the actual imported goods, HCM City Customs Department has collected VND374 billion. Zone 1st Sai Gon Seaport Customs Branch has collected over VND213 billion, accounting for 56%. The Investment Customs Branch has collected over VND140 billion, accounting for 36.84%.
