VCN – From January to November 8, Hai Phong Customs Department collected tariffs on imports and exports worth VND56,013 billion, meeting 100.02% of the annual target set by the Ministry of Finance, said the customs authority.

Five of nine customs branches under the local department have achieved the revenue target in 2021, including 1St Zone Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch, the Investigation/ Processing Customs Branch, Hai Duong Customs Branch and Thai Binh Customs Branch.
To achieve the positive result in State revenue collection, the municipal customs has taken measures to facilitate trade, improve the efficiency of state management in 2021. Therefore, the trade in the department has shown significant growth in recent months.
End-October, the export turnover in Hai Phong Customs Department saw a year-on-year increase of 25% to VND42.72 billion.
Meanwhile, the import turnover rose 27.34% to US$50.1 billion compared with the previous year.
The department continues to drastically implement solutions and strives to exceed the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs and the local government.
