VCN – On March 16, Ha Noi Tax Department held an online support program to help tax payers implement tax finalization in 2021.

According to Director of Mai Son, new strains of Covid-19 continue to be recorded in 2021 and 2022, which has negatively affected all aspects of the economy. The National Assembly, the Government and ministries, government agencies have issued policies and provided solutions to support businesses. When the policies were issued, the department has actively executed policies on tax exemption, tax reduction and support packages for taxpayers in accordance with regulations.
The city tax department has expedited the support and removing difficulties for taxpayers via many flexible and diverse methods. The department has inherited and promoted the efficiency of traditional support methods and expanded the online support and information exchange methods in line with the strong development of the 4.0 technology revolution, thereby helping businesses and taxpayers access faster and more effectively, creating consensus and enhancing compliance with tax regulations of taxpayers.
In March and April every year, the department has held the accompanying month with taxpayers to support and create favorable conditions for taxpayers in implementing tax policies, corporate income tax finalization and personal income tax finalization, Director Mai Son said.
Accordingly, from March 15 to April 5, the department has launched “the program of accompanying taxpayers to make tax finalization in 2021” at the department office and 25 local tax branches with three functions, including support in policy, information technology and tax declaration.
“In 2022, many new legal documents stipulating regulations on tax declaration took effect, leading to changes in the methods and forms of tax declaration and calculation. Along with that, the execution of tax exemption and tax reduction to support taxpayers affected the declaration and finalization indicators of taxpayers,” Son said.
To both ensure the prevention and control of the pandemic, and promote the support of taxpayers to comply with tax laws and policies, create favorable conditions for them in implementing tax procedures and tax finalization procedures, the program is considered the first online support program of 2022 with the expectation that it will be an effective support channel for the business community and taxpayers in the city.
Chairwoman of the Vietnam Tax Consultation Association Nguyen Thi Cuc, said that the program has supported 180,000 enterprises, showing the efficiency of the online support. The taxpayers have directly discussed and have been instructed by the tax authority in a timely fashion.
