VCN – Northern Hanoi Customs Branch under Hanoi Customs Department chaired and worked with Hanoi Police to inspect two air shipments.

Earlier, through customs professional operations, the Customs identified suspicious signs from the two shipments shipped from Germany and the Czech Republic via air to Vietnam.
Inspecting the shipment from Germany to Vietnam (two packages), the competent forces discovered drugs mixed and packed in boxes of cakes, candies, food and toothpaste.
The seized goods included 4 kg of suspected methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA).

Inspecting the shipment sent from the Czech Republic to Vietnam, the competent forces identified 3.8kg drugs hidden in bottles of lotions and shampoo.
The case is under investigation.
