VCN – According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC), as of October, 495 yard, warehouse and port operators completed connections and sharing of declarations/documents of import and export shipments eligible for passing through the customs control area to the Vietnam Automated System for Seaport Customs Management (VASSCM).

Of those, 299 seaport, ICD, CFS, warehouse operators, 191 bonded warehouse operators and five air cargo terminals have completed the connection.
VASSCM has met requirements on customs management, facilitated customs process, reduced customs clearance time and costs for importers and exporters.
In addition, VASSCM has promptly notified the customs clearance status for each shipment and container to the operators, reducing staff, costs and preventing risks for the operators.
